Paper Towns: Week of 11/19/14

Pages read: 0-36
Prompt: Predictions on the future of the characters/story?

I've literally just started reading this book, and it's really good so far. I had finished "The Elite: A selection Novel" after so long, and I'm really glad now that I was able to start a new book. Reading the first page of the story, I was already introduced to two characters, named Quentin and Margo. Apparently, Quentin is in love with her, and has been for a long time now. Later in the story, about ten pages in or so, the author brought up more charcaters, who are Radar, Ben, Angela, and Lacey. Radar, Ben are friends of Quentin. Plus Angela is Radar's girlfriend, who is nice, and it actually surprises Quentin and Ben that Radar has a girlfriend in the first place. Lacey on the other hand, is just one of Margo's best friend.

Based on what I read so far, I think something is going to happen to Quentin and Margo. I mean Quentin can't just watch Margo from afar forever? Therefore, I think soon enough Margo will start talking to Quentin again. It's kind of mystery how they used to be like best friends, but then all of a sudden it just kind of ends or drift away. Ever since they found that dead body, everything changed, which is what I think is the reason Margo seemed to not talk to Quentin anymore. Or maybe that's just me. I'm not sure yet.

Later in the story though, I think Margo will approach him for a certain reason. I don't really know what that reason is, but in the beginning since it mentioned that she was into mysteries, and crime investigations, I'm pretty sure it relates to that. I also really think it's really cute how Quentin only eyes for that one mysterious girl, and thinks she's the most beautiful girl in the world. In whose name is, Margo Roth Spiegelman. In fact, if they don't end up together in the end, I just might cry.

  1. I finished reading this book during the beginning of the school year and I just want to say that this is an excellent book. I liked how the author John Green was able to put mystery, adventure, and romance in one single book. I liked how you were extremely specific on the predictions for Margo in which they do seem realistic. Which character is your favorite? Margo or Quentin? Great Blog Post.
