As far as my progress goes I have gathered research on what animals are critically endangered. I used the site, http://www.worldwildlife.org/ to get my info. However in the source it shows what animals are also endangered, vulnerable, near threatned, and the least concern. I've made a list on google docs of just only the critically endangered. I was thinking that I wouldn't really need all the other animals that fell into the other categories. There was already about 16 animals that were on the verge of being extinct. I thought that adding even more species, would just mean additional research, and I don't really have the time for that. Especially, if I still have to take more steps, and actions to complete my project.
Besides finding what animals are endangered, I already know what to do next. Since I already have the list of creatures, I have started looking, why they have become scarce, and specifically where their normal habitat is. After completing this step, I will soon be on my way to put all of this into a presentation, and inform students about my project. Overall though, all I need to do is to just put what I found the reasons why these animals are at risk in the google doc, and then organize it all together.
