The Fault In Our Stars *FINAL* Spoiler Alert!: Week of 3/6/14

Pompt :How did the reading make you feel? Why?
Pages Read: 270-Finished

When I first started reading this book it made feel happy and cheerful because Augustus and Hazel first met I knew they would be the perfect couple. Although there were some complications they still made it work even though it took some time. I remember reading that Hazel recommended a book for Augustus and he loved it. He would quote from it every now and then which was rather sweet. Their love for each other made me so happy and cheerful for them. I was glad they got to live a part of life which is love even though they were young.

During the middle of book by emotions started changing. I was still happy but things were changing and it only made me feel really sad. It was unfortunate that their friend Isaac was now blind, but Augustus and Hazel would always make him feel better I guess. When they met the author of their favorite book he turned out to be a real jerk. The things he said to Hazel made me angry, and sad and then he became my disliked character.

The ending of the book was just so many feelings combined. When Augustus had his funeral I cried, it was as if I could feel the amount of sadness and anger Hazel felt. Earlier in the chapter Augustus had wrote Hazel an eulogy and sent it to the author of An Imperial Affliction. Hazel finally found it and read it. The last chapters were of the eulogy Augustus wrote. It was the most emotional, best, unforgetful part of the story. I could go on and on about this book but it's best if I don't so I don't spoil everything to you. However I do highly recommend this book! This is indeed now one of my favorites.

  2. i almost got emotional again reading this post :'). What a great book, I'm so happy everyone is reading it now. I remember reading this about a year and a half ago and it still has the same effect on me as it did then. As you said: happy, confused, depressed. Can't wait to see what you'll be reading next week, I recommend some more John Green :3
