During the gallery walk, I've learned a variety of things. Some of them overlaped, but others were completely different. A popular one people talked about was the ISIS situation with Egypt. Apparently, Egypt had bombed targets in Libya in response to the video that ISIS released of them beheading over a dozen Christian Egyptian men. On the last gallery walk the same thing happened too. A lot of individuals talked about the ISIS situation with Japan, and how the country was turning to Jordan for help.
However, I think some of my favorite articles that people talked about were the ones that were distinct. For example, Athziry talked about this girl named Molly Bair who became a model despite her "strange" facial features. But it just shows that what can be strange to somebody, can be model quality to another and I just thought that it was important for the world to hear. Many people think that to be a model, you have be perfect with certain features and figure but you don't. Molly Bair proved that to people, and showed that you don't follow what society thinks but to most importantly, love yourself.
