The Elite A Selection Novel: Week of 11/1/14

Prompt: Why did you choose this book and predict what you think will happen.
Pages Read: 120-180

First of all, I chose this book because this was the sequel to the first book I read which was "The Selection" it was only reasonable to read the second book. Plus in the first book, it never really said who America chose, so you had to read the other books to know what happened. I wasn't going to read a book that didn't solve the main problem, so I proceeded to keep reading the written works, from the author, Kiera Cass. However, I did find the books really interesting as well, so that's another reason why I chose to get this publication. The first book contained, romance, humor, suspense, in which I really enjoyed, in which I supposed that the second book would be better.

What will I predict will happen? Well that's actually a hard question. See in the first book, I predicted that she will choose her first love Aspen to be with, but she actually hasn't chose anyone yet, and she's starting to get closer to Prince Maxon, than I thought. Somedays, she has flashbacks of Aspen, and herself, but other days, she's with Maxon at dates,  having sweet, cute moments. In fact, there are times where I just want to skip to the end of the page, and see what happens, but I control myself, and contintue reading the chapters. Or maybe, a part of me is just scared what will occur in the future.

When I'm finally done with this book, I hope that most of my questions will be answered. I know that all my questions won't be answered because there is a third book. It really is a pain. Honestly, I feel bad for people who have to read a whole series that consists of seven books to get the results they've been waiting for. Personally, I can't handle it. Overall, I just want to know who America ends up choosing!

How I feel about America, the main character. :D

^Fun fact this gif is from one of my favorite shows, Once Upon A Time :)^

  1. I can really understand how sometimes books do no answer questions and that aggravates me. Really good blog post this week! I love your picture too! I LOVE OUAT!!! REGINA AND ROBIN!!! Whoo! 🙋

  2. First of all I like that show too Once Upon a Time and I especially like the character Regina. I think you came up with great detailed predictions for your book by including specific characters and events that have happened in the story so far. I do agree maybe the second book will be better since most of the time sequels are a bit better. I'm reading Hollow City which is a sequel to Miss Peregrines book and so far the book is excellent filled with more action than the first. I feel like your questions will be answered. P.S. When Regina says that quote I feel like she is talking about Cora her mother. Great Blog Post.

  3. I love you gif of Regina! It was one of the things that brought me to your blog. I understand how you feel with having to read the next book in a series because you have to find out what's next. The series sounds really suspenseful and awesome. I've been planning to read it for awhile but other books have just kept on popping up. Great blog!
