Prompt: List at least three problems the main character faced? Which was the most life
changing? Explain
One of the problems the main character Tris in the story faced is being in the weakest in the dauntless. In the faction, Dauntless they are tested to do missions or training that would show if you are eligable to be in Dautless. So far, Tris has been in the bottom due to her fight with a girl and Peter. Tris had to at least make it before the line on the chart so she can make it. Eventually, tt took a lot of courage and bravery for her to finally reach above the line but it was worth it. It was as if she finally felt Dauntless.
Another problem Tris faced was when at first she took the test that would tell her what faction she would belong then. The test results then supposably were inconclusive after she took it. This was rare, and it actually didn't help her to choose a faction if she was a little of everything. Especially, if she knew that her brother was leaving their family, and faction Abnegation. This left a hard choice for Tris to make and it was one of her main problems at that time.
The most life changing problem for Tris was probably her trying to be more Dauntless and not Divergent. In the missions or field trips she had to do what the dauntless would do. She couldn't think like anything else. Tris had to think like a Dautless. Especially, in the simulation where they had to face their fears. There were times where she let her other senses or insticts take over which wasn't actually good at times. People were out for the Divergent and if she didn't start controling herself she would soon be killed.

I really liked your blog and Divergent is a great book. I mean that would be pretty hard of a decision to make.
ReplyDeleteLeanna,
ReplyDeleteGreat blog this week, I really enjoyed it! I think you did a great job analyzing three problems that Tris experienced through the story, and I do agree with you that those are the main problems she experienced. Your blog was very organized, and I really enjoyed just reading it. It flowed very well, and was smooth, and interesting. Your thoughts are extremely intelligent! I also agreed that the last problem was most life changing because it caused her to have to change her whole personality basically! So, overall great blog this week, and I look forward to reading more of your blogs in the future!
I liked your blog this week! It was well explained. When you listed the three problems, you spread them out into three different paragraphs and they were well described.
