Prompt: Describe a character you would like to meet in person.
To be honest I would really like to meet a lot of characters in the story. I think it would be interesting to meet Jeremy, because I would really like to know why he made a weird game avatar in the first place. It kind of surprises me that he cheated on Mallory that way. Usually people, cheat a different way, but Jeremy cheated on Mallory a pretty surprising affair. I wonder how Jeremy felt when Mallory dumped him. Even though he cheated on her, I still think he loved her in an unshowing way.
It would also be really cool if I could meet Mallory's grandmother. Even though she isn't mentioned in the story as much she seemed very interesting. She left a lot of cool things, and even left a list of things to do, and such. I feel as though Mallory's grandmother had a lot of great stories, and experiences to tell which I would gladly like to hear. Especially, in the 60's where there were pretty dresses, cars, hair-dos, amazing dances, and music.
However, the character I would really love to meet is the one and only, Mallory. Mallory is a funny, sarcastic person who isn't afraid to do anything. Since she's giving up on technology, and going vintage, I feel as though it would be really interesting and I would like to talk to her about her experience of going vintage and how it felt like. From my personal opinion, I really like a lot about the 60's and I think it would be fun to experience some of that like Mallory. Mallory seems like the type of person who would do spontaneous and crazy things which is why I would like to meet her.
This is how I picture Mallory as a character. I feel as though she's loud, and really funny.

From the way you describe these characters seem to be pretty interesting. I could see that there is some romance with this Jeremy guy. I really think that Mallory took a great decision into breaking up with him. As for Mallory's grandmother I feel that she left all of those things because those materials do have a story behind them. Mallory seems to be the best character out of all. I would also like to know as well how the experiment would go for her going all vintage. Outstanding blog this week!
ReplyDeleteSimply by the way you describe Mallory, I feel that Emma Stone would be a great person to portray her. The title Going Vintage seems pretty interesting. It fits perfectly, doesn't it? This really makes me think about how I would look if I went vintage....... probably not going to try.
ReplyDeleteMallory sounds like the best person ever! Sometimes I wish we didn't have all these laptops and iPhones because they're such a distraction from life and sometimes even keep you from doing great things. I know they're really beneficial, but people were fine before we had all this new technology. I feel like Mallory, you, and I have a lot in common! Great blog!
