Prompt: How have your feelings changed as you've been reading?
Pages Read: 200-300
A lot of my feelings have changed as I been reading. I guess since now I've read further into the book, I now know more. For example in the beginning I was really confused, thinking, and trying to figure everything out. But now as I'm reaching closer to the ending I'm no longer confused, or wondering. I now understand. In fact, I know feel intrigued. I feel intrigued because now that I know more, it's more interesting. For example in the story Thomas and Minho find kind of like a secret exit. When they were in the maze, they were by a cliff and saw grievers fall down below, and would disappear. Then they started throwing little rocks testing it out, and then of coarse they disappeared as well. This made me really intrigued, and then eventually I started making assumptions or predictions of what it was, or what would happen next.
Another new feeling I've developed is excitement. During the story I've started to become excited which is quite funny actually. That moment where Thomas survived the maze, was one of my favorite parts in the book. It was actually a very exciting part to me as well. When he saved Alby, and practically survived. it made me scream. Thomas is my favorite character so if he died in story, I would be furious, and disappointed so I'm just glad he made it. Another part where I was really cheering is when Thomas became a runner. I was so happy for him, and I knew he would be a great one. In fact, it's really interesting, and surprising how a book can really affect your emotions.
Suspicion is also another feeling I have from what I've been reading. I've been having suspicion towards a lot of things. For example when Gally left, it kept me suspicious because I just had this feeling he was up to something. I mean when he left no one knew where he went, so it left me curious. But I think the most suspicion I've been having is towards the creators. It just makes me think like Why would they put them there? What do they want to happen? Then it only made me more suspicious when Thomas, and Minho were out, and Thomas spotted a few signs behind some vines saying, "World in catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department."

I can really relate to you, Leanna! When I was reading The Maze Runner I experienced these feelings as well when I was reading. I also like the picture you included in your blog. That's basically Thomas's feelings the entire book! Great blog!
